Question:

Pain after s*x during pregnancy?

Am almost 27 weeks and I have no spotting or bleeding but some cramping and just aching in general after last night's episode. Thinking I won't do that again LOL :) But is this normal or anything I should worry about? And if normal, how long will it last? (The aching and cramping)...

Thanks :)

  1. yes

  2. You might want to take it easy and not be so rough during sexual intercourse.

The pain will go away soon maybe by tomorrow.. if not I would call my doctor or go to the doctor

  3. I had this happen to me as well.  Very bad cramping and back pain afterwards.  This is very normal and cannot hurt the baby from what I have researched.  I have had it last from a few minutes to half a day.  Hope you feel better!

  4. I know personally - my husband can't go completely in now that I am pregnant because it is very uncomfortable.  Is your hubby going in too far?  That could be one cause.

You have to remember that he can hit the bottom of your uterus which is very sensitive and will stay that way until after the baby arrives.  Maybe try a different position so you can control what's happening.

The aching and cramping should go away in about two days or less.  If it doesn't, call your doctor just to be on the safe side.

  5. maybe try using lubrication next time. I'm always a little sore afterwards as well, but it doesn't last more than a day.

  6. Cramping sensations are normal after s*x. It's just your uterus basically reacting to your o****m. It can be uncomfortable afterwards, and unfortunately it will be like that right til the end. But s*x during pregnancy is healthy, and once you reach your due date, you will want to have s*x as your mans sperm can help thin your cervix! Woo hoo! s*x for medical reason! lol Try to enjoy it though, because you sure won't be 'getting any' for a while after the baby is born!

    Good luck!
