Question:

Pain below belly button

I have really strong pain right below my belly button. It is extremely tender to the touch. The pain is namely centered in an area about an inch in diameter... however there is pain (just not as severe) surrounding it for about three inches.

The pain doesn't worsen when I pee, and I'm quite confident it's not a urinary tract infection. I've already had my appendix removed, so it can't be that.

I don't have the ability to get to a doctor right now as I'm house sitting in the middle of nowhere without a car. I'm hoping you guys might have some suggestions/advice/thoughts.

  1. possible hernia, alternate heat and ice packs to relieve the pain, but if it gets worse go to the Dr.  If becomes hot and very painful, go to the ER.  If it twists in on itself it can cause tissue necrosis and gangrene

  2. Somebody help me Yahoo wont take my credit card and I can't get customer service. This is the only way I could get through. Pass the message along.
