  1. Time for you to start shaving.

Some girls develop a moustache, just like boys do.

If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn't a simple answer and there's a lot of misleading "information" around.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

    1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

    2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache. Believe me, it shows up far, far worse.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

    * Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

    * Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

    * Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

    * Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin and does not cause the hair to grow more or coarser or faster. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for girls and women, are probably those from the men's range of Philips/Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most girls and women who try a men's Philips/Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

  2. nair. don't shave it.

  3. you could use an electric Epilator - it has rotary blades that hook to & pull off your hair. it is very effective even for longterm use - the hair don't become thick or hard. it is less painful than waxing or some other methods. Never shave.

EDIT: also remembered - a truly painfree method -

you could make a thick paste of gram flour & milk/water and a few drops of oil [almond/olive/or any other oil]. apply this over the hairy areas & allow it to dry a bit & then massage it to-n-fro with your fingers to remove it. do it daily. it is a lengthy process but very effective & the hair growth is extremely slow. it basically weakens the roots of the hair. and the earlier in life one starts, the better - then the hair doesn't even grow back!

  4. To get rid of it, you would have some pain hun... sorry.  Your options are wax, lazer or electrolisys.  All three are painful.  Do not shave, if you shave it will not only come back, but come back thicker.  If it is not that bad, you can bleach it so that it is lighter.  Beyond that, unfortunatly hair removal is a painfull process.  Good luck hun.

  5. Here are some home remedies I found...

    http://www.fatfreekitchen.com/beauty/fac...

They seem to work ok...but of course waxing or threading works better

  6. i dunno...try shaving it :P

  7. Thats not true! I had the same problem. There are unpainful ways! Go to CVS Pharmacy!

in the razor section and there will be a dissolving facial hair kit. It doesnt hurt at all. I forgot what the brand is though but you'll find it!

    Hope this helps!

    =]

  8. if its that bad, use a facial hair remover cream. Sally's works best. and it's not painful . :]

  9. there is no pain free way sorry!! definately do not shave!it would grow back stubly like a mans tash! threading is probably a good way and if you do it often you will get used to it but honestly when you first do it..it really really stings!
