Question:

Pain in Knees and Hips?

Every day I have terrible pain in my knees and hips as well as the joints in my hands and fingers. (typing this is very painful)

I am 20y/o and I have talked to many doctors and they just say loose weight.

To that I have lost 40lbs in the past 6 months. and the pain has increased substantially.

I try to walk every day even though it is more painful and the distance that I can walk is getting smaller and smaller.

Stairs are a Nightmare.

what can i do?

  1. Try going to a chiropractor.  Your bones may be out of alignment which trust me, can cause severe pain!

Also, congratulations on the weight loss!  I've been trying forever and can't seem to lose a blasted pound!

  2. you have osteoarthritis.....take a pain reliever for arthritis.....i wear a soft ace sports knee brace for my knee pain and sleep on my back to prevent hip pain

  3. Hiya,

Have you had any x-rays/mris/bloods taken?  If yes to all of the above, have you looked at Fibro?  I have severe pains in my hands, collarbone, ribs, hips, knees (I have to shuffle up and down stairs) etc etc etc.  I could go on all day about the pain but the point is the docs say its down to FM.

Have a wee look (I've pasted this link so many times today, feel like I should be a promoter!  LOL!):

Whatever it is, I hope it eases up for you soon.
