Okay.. so I just started acting, and now in a play... and I have to show pain, because my character gets stabbed... LOL- anyway, once I broke my ankle, and my mum said I showed no pain, so they thought I was faking... HOW DO I SHOW PAIN???? Ive seen Pirates, and Orli is very good at that! but sadly, im not!

  1. whatever you do, do not pretend to be in pain.

BE IN PAIN. start thinking about pain ahead of time.

what would you do if you really got stabbed??

channel that. but DON'T fake act.

    good luck!

  2. I think of someone that I've loved and lost through death and I can feel the pain that I felt when they passed and accompanied with my longing to see them again I get emotional...or you could think of someone you lost and never really connected with and the pain of not being able to show the love you felt....Congrats on your play....

  3. ever burn your hand or finger? get you hand slammed in a door?  You must have felt pain sometime and you have watched actors express pain in films, SO use your imagination and when the time comes, you react with the expression of pain that you have imagined.  No faking, do it.
