I golf a lot in the summer, in fact i probably have over 150 rounds in. Now though i have been having a pain under my fingers. My left ring finger is really bad. It is not in the finger it is under it but what could it be. Could it be trigger finger? I am going to be done golfing in a month because of winter though.

  1. ya that happened to me also... its cuz u putto much pressure on ur wrists and fingers try to get more shoulder and torso into ur swing... its helped me

  2. Carpal tunnel repetitive stress syndrome.  Suck it up and hang in there. It will heal over the winter.

Old joke - Doc, my arm hurts when I do this.  Doctor - then stop doing this.

  3. Probably some inflammation from all the rounds you've played.  You might try some ice, ibuprofen, & rest to see if it helps.  If you keep playing and then transition into bowling, it might not go away without some rest.

  4. Pain is a signal from your brain to stop whatever it is you are doing or you will cause serious damage to the body part that hurts.  So stop playing for a few days and see if it gets better.  If not, best to go to the doctor and find out what the problem is.  I have played close to 100 round this season, and do not have pain under the ring finger so I don't know that it is really golf related?
