Question:

Pain in knuckles when swimming?

When I do the breast stroke I often get pains in the knuckles of my middle and ring finger after a period of time, usually only after swimming for around 10 -15 minutes.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? I used to do a lot of weight training, could this have anything to do with it?

I am otherwise fairly fit and a strong swimmer.

  1. just make sure you keep your fingers together when you pull your arms back. because you could be leaving space between them and there for you have pulled the muscles in your lower arm from the pressure on your fingers.

    hope this helps x

  2. keep your fingers together when you swimm. too you could have a pulled forearm muscle

  3. Do you have very long arms that scrape the bottom of the pool?
