  1. Hi,

I have the same thing! Since about 3 weeks ago, this pain came about whilst I was on holiday - the most strenuous thing I did was swim a couple of lengths so I'm not sure what caused it either. My pain is a constant nervy pain from the muscle deep in my upper arm right down to my wrist, it feels much worse at night.

I've been told by my GP to take Neurofen which has not helped at all. I've been rubbing tiger balm in which gives some slight relief for a very short time.

Resting seems to make it feel worse - the only time the pain feels less apparent is when i'm too busy to think about it!

I'm going back this week to the GP as i've seen no improvement at all. Good luck with your arm, I hope you see an improvement soon.

I'll let you know if I find out what it is or find a way to alleviate the pain!

  2. my mom had that

    you need more vitinims

  3. you need go back to doctor.

do you for example work on a computer all day?

you could have RSI or tendonitis

i am recovering from an op for this and the pain sounds the same.

i couldn't take anti inflammatories (allergic)

you need ask for a referal for physio to start. your physio will be able

to work out whether physio will help or whether you need see consultant and have xray ultra sound or even an mri scan.

please don't leave it too long because i did and it just got worse.

    good luck

  4. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. You haven't really given the anti-inflammatories long enough to act - they need a couple of weeks to really kick in. Did your doc also give you some painkillers? You can get co-codamol or paramol over the counter, which are quite strong pain killers. It might also be worth a visit to a chiropractor, because it sounds like it could be a nerve pain, and they are the experts in that field. If it doesn't settle, please don't hesitate to go back to your doctor, they can do a lot to help. Good luck.

  5. If it continues, perhaps ask your Doc to refer you for an xray?

I hope the pain subsides soon!!
