Question:

Pain in my eyes?

I recently bought a deathadder 3g infrared laser, I was very excited as you could guess. I plugged it in and was looking at where my old mouse had a red light at bottom of it flashing out etc.

This mouse didn't have it, so I looked directly into it for about 5-7 seconds. I woke up this morning and if I look left, right, up or down with my eyeball it hurts a bit. If I'm looking straight its fine though.

Should I be worried?

  1. i have had a similar situation before, but it went away after a day or two. i do not recommend just waiting for it to go away for too long, go to a doctor if it doesnt go away in a day or so.

  2. you should be fine. the IR laser in common everyday products dont damage your eyes unless you stare at it all day. If it did damage your eye, you would have a dark spot looking through that eye. The muscles of your eyes would not be affected.

If your eye pain persists for the next couple of days. Go see a doctor for further evaluation.
