  1. There are no effective intense fat-burning workouts.

    Fat is burned at lower levels of exercise intensity that can usually be reach merely by walking briskly or jogging slowly for most.  Your target heart rate for burning fat is 60-70% of your maximum heart rate (figured by taking 220 minus your age).  Example: A 22-year old has a max heart rate of 220 - 22 = 198 so the fat-burning zone is about 120-140.


  2. i recommend biking and swimming. they are both easy on the joints and they burns 10 or more calories a minute depending on how fast you go as running does.
