  1. round ligament pain i had it bad so bad i thought something was wrong with my baby. but i went to the doctor and it was round ligament pain!! its just you r baby getting bigger and you inside your belly its having to make room for your baby!! believe me you will be fine. it only lasted for like a week for me good luck and congrats on your lil one

  2. I am 15 weeks 4 days with twins and I have this pain in both my right side and left.  It has dropped me to my knees in tears quite a few times.  My doctor seems to think it is my round ligaments stretching.  I was instructed to put a heating pad on low or soak in a wrm bath.  That seems to help.  I have also had to start sleeping with a body pillow so i can prop my legs and belly while I am sleeping.

  3. Im 11 weeks pregnant and ive had left sided pain since i was 5 weeks. Doc seems to think that it is normal and doesnt seem worried. Ive not been scanned yet so assume that the pain is nothing!

  4. try using a pillow  under your side to be more comfortable

  5. It could possibly be round ligament pain.

  6. Hi

I have similar pains on both sides that are worse when walking and worse in the morning. They started about week 15 and I'm now into week 34... The midwife thinks its round ligament pain but has referred me to a physio who should be able to provide some help as its definitley getting worse. Apparently they can give you a belly support which takes the pressure off the ligaments and ease things generally. Sleeping on your left side also helps if you can do it. I keep waking up on my back still! hope thats of some use...

  7. It could be the way the bay is laying in your tummy, but this sounds really severe. I would suggest calling your doctor today. Talk to the nurse about this, and they can decide if you need to get in to see the dr. now or you can wait.

    Good luck.
