I have a pain in my left foot, right under the ankle, in the inner side of my leg. A pulsing pain, hard to describe, but very annoying. It comes and goes, sometimes really light, sometimes makes my whole leg stiff from the toes up to the knee. Dunno where it came from, there is no swelling, no redness, nothing to be felt when i touch the sore place. And it tends to travel between under my ankle to my second biggest toe. Any clue what it can be? My GP just looked at me like I was nuts, did some tests (for parasites, vein damage, muscle damage, x-rays), nothing found. Any clue what it can be??

  1. You should get yourself to a doctor right away!  He'll have the answers to your problem!

  2. why are you telling random ppl this and not a doctor?

  3. Sorry you did not have any luck with a doctor. I hope I can help. There can be many things wrong and to better help you to help yourself, I have included this web page.

Is the pain more severe during an activity?

You said the pain can generate to your knee, how about your calf?

  4. Stop kicking your boyfriend.

  5. I would advise seeing a Podiatrist (foot specialist)  or an Orthopedic physician who are much more educated in this type of problem.

If you truly believe that you do indeed have a problem then this is the route you should go.

  6. some times when i walk alot i get that pain only from wearing flip flops but it u wear high heels than thats ur problem

  7. Hey sometimes general practice doctors dont know about stuff like that. They are used to the run of the mill colds, flu, stomach virus, fevers, etc.

Sounds like to me you could have a pinched nerve or something. Pinched nerves dont show up on x rays or tests, they are usually diagnosed by the patient's description and then confirmed if treatment starts and you feel better than thats probably what it is. I would try to see a podiatrist or orthopedic. They have more expertise in that area of the body and might have a clue about what is going on. In the meantime try icing or heating the area to take away the pain when it is hurting or try advil or some other type of pain reliever to help.

    Good Luck!!
