Hi all,

I am having a kind of pain in the right side of my lower abdominal region. My bowel is also not fully clear as although i have been to the loo in the morning yet it is not a fully satisfying one.

My problem is that i am having this pain especially after i am having food as in lunch and dinner. My doc is not here till tuesday so i am worried as to what can cause this pain and how can i control this.

I have delivered a baby by c-section 5 months ago..so u can imagine i have an infant to cater to and she is fully breastfed, so plzz help!

Is it anything to really get worried about??

the pain is gone now but slifht discomfort is there still...plzz help!

  1. I think I'm correct in saying that appendicitis pain will start around your "belly button" and by the time it reaches your right iliac fossa it will be severe, not just a niggle so I think you can discount that!

More likely to be due to your constipation problem.

Have you got anything you can take for that like Regulan or Fybogel as you have to be careful with bf babies.

Can you manage to drink a drop more do you think?Dehydration could be a problem.

You would need to increase your fluids if you do take Regulan or Fybogel anyway.

  2. There are many possible causes always wise to get checked out by your doctor.

It does sound like a greater intake of fibre and plenty of water would help.

    Good Luck
