Hey I had surgery like a little over a week ago and my surgeon prescribed the painkillers for me so now i take about 2 when i wake up and 2 when i sleep every day even though it says i can take 2 every 4 hours. When i take these pills .. 10-20 min later I feel the side effects of drowsiness/dizziness, but it's a good feeling I like it ALOT.

These pills are making me want that feeling back. That feeling makes me so calm and confident for some reason. I feel the ocean around me and I am not nervous around people and much more confident. I want that feeling all the time but i don't want to get it by "getting addicted" to pain killers pills. Is there another way to get this feeling back as a safe and healthy way? I really want that calm/drowsy/confident feeling guys i really really do. It gets rid of my depression too.

BY THE WAY I AM MALE/16 YEARS OLD

  1. I may be terribly mistaken but I highly doubt that there are any miracle drugs that give you the effects that you're looking for without a severe risk of addiction and all the other negative things associated with drugs. Alcohol has effects, as I'm sure you know,  that are similar to the ones you described, but there is the obvious issue of dealing with the hangover and obtaining it legally etc etc.

Wait until you're 21 and then you can enjoy alcohol in all it's glory.  Right before the stupid-drunk stage, you'll feel terrific.

  2. that feeling goes  away  with tolerant to the drug..it was a opiate..trust me im on  methadone..

  3. it is a very nice feeling ... smoke pot does the same with no health effects or addictions : )

  4. go get painpainkillers

  5. ur probally addicted to the endorphin rush

  6. go to a health food store and look for something called deprex.   by all means do not continue the pain pill after you are healed from surgery.

my son is so addicted to pain pills that he even shoots them up in his veins.  once the addiction is that strong, the body must have it,or else go into withdrawals that are agonizing.  meditation gives one those same feelings,in fact better, it is so blissful.  exercise will do the same thing too, because it releases endorphins that give the body pleasure.

if your depression continues or gets worse, seek out a mental health clinic.  the deprex i mentioned makes you feel good and it is safe as far as i know.
