Pain on my left side?

I know that the area on the right side is your appendix, but exactly in the same spot on the left side, i get a shooting pain sensation every time i go for a jog in the morning that makes it unbearable. hoping someone can tell me if its serious before i go to the doctors.

if its your side right above the bone.. its because you ate too much before you worked out

There are a couple of possibilities - you are getting what is commonly called a stitch - have a look at the website I found for you which explains it very well

The other explanation is that you may have appendix problems as not everyone has theirs on the same side and it can be on the left in some people. I would suggest if it keeps bothering you to ask your doctor to check it out
