Question:

Pain on my right hip?

I have been having hip pain on my right hip for almost three weeks. I just woke up one morning and noticed a few broken blood vessels on my right hip. Later that day I went out to the track and went running. It hurt every step I took. I have taken pain medicine, I have put a heating pad to it, but the pain just dose not go away. What makes me angry is I don't know where I got it from. It hurts right on the bone. Dose anybody know what could be wrong, or how to heal it? It dose not hurt to breath, but hurts a tad bit to cough. Can anybody help? Thanks.

  1. There could be some bruising going on.  Sometimes bruising to the area can occur such as by staying in one position for too long.  Also, sometimes a pulled muscle can occur for the same reason and causing the pain to radiate and refer to the area like the bone. (examples only)

Because of how long you have had this go on for I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.

  2. you just need to hear the doctor's thoughts on that. bec that could be minor or serious. but you don't want to take any chances, so make sure you take a stop by the doctors office!
