Question:

Pain on the outer thigh?

Me and my brother were sparring and kicking each other in the thighs. I got hit in the thigh, it hurt but the next day, it stopped hurting. The day after, I started to feel real big pain on my outer thigh. The pain made me limp for a few days. I wasn't able to even make sharp movements or the pain would be stronger. My leg feels better now but there is still pain. The pain is on my right leg. When I stretch my legs out all the way, my thigh muscles would pop up. The thigh muscle only pops up on my left leg. The only way for my right leg thigh muscle to pop up is to grip my leg tight (I don't mean by holding it with my hands or anything. I mean making my muscle contract). When I make my muscle contract on my right left, pain builds up. I've tried ice and Icy-Hot cream but the pain is still there. It's been 3 weeks and still no change. Same old pain.

  1. This is known as a dead leg. With sparring comes none other than a charlie horse. If its really bad all you can do is get a pair of crutches and lay in bed all day. If I was yoi I'd just strech like h**l even though it'll hurt at first...It will speed the road to recovery and get you back in the ring for vengence(just kidding) asap

  2. heat for 5 to 10 minutes and then rub it or misadge it in a circular movent with maximum pressure in which the area feels a bit pain. repeat this process about 5 times a day till it goes away.

  3. its a deep bruise. happens a lot with leg kicks. take a couple of days off stretch it and just becareful with it. it could take a month or so to heal. also try tiger balm

  4. STRETCH AND RUB!!!!!! it may hurt like h**l but it helps me after conditioning legs

  5. 1/ Hold off the training and take some time out until it heals.

2/ See a doctor or someone who knows.
