Pain when wearing Contact Lens?

Does anyone know how to reduce the pain when you first wear Contact Lens?

Eye drops..they should come in the solution you put your lens in..sometimes they don't help though(like me) and you'll be in a world of pain..get rid of those things, they suck

Is it really bad pain? Or just minor irritation? Because the smallest piece of dust or anything on them will hurt like crazy, and you have to take them out and rinse them. The best thing I learned is, before you put them in, wash your hands and DON'T dry them afterwards. Drying them with a towel puts little fibers of towel on your hands, which then get stuck on your lenses.
