its irritating like it hurts only a little

its probably going to take some more time before the over sensitivity goes away. Give it more time. You just had it done late last year, and you cant try to base your experience on someone who was cut as a baby and never had a covered glans, so try not to be impatient.

Your glans is still sensitive after being completely protected for 13 years.  I'm assuming that it's not quite as sensitive as it was before you were circ'ed.  Normal day to day activities like bathing, masturbating, and rubbing against your clothes will help decrease your sensitivity to a point where you are comfortable.  Just give this more time.

Why in the world would you decide to get circumcised at 14?

Anyway, probably it is just sensitive as it was PROTECTED for 14 years and now you are exposing your glans to irritation from rubbing your underwear.
