I'm a 16 year old girl. Well my hips tend to hurt like around the joints. usually if i walk for a certain amout of time they hurt. Other times my hips just hurt without me doing anything. when i walk the joints make a popping feeling. That doesnt hurt though. If anyone is a doctor please tell me in case there is something wrong. even if your not a doctor can you tell me what you think might be wrong. can you tell me if you think i should go to the doctor??? Some people told me that it might be legaments rubbing together. Others told me that my hips might be out of light. Other people tell me I am fine do you have any suggestions???

  1. Depending on your weight, without getting too personal, you may have a premature case of osteoarthritis which can happen in any weight class, but tends to be more common in people who are obese. Another case would be hip dysplasia, which is where your hip becomes displaced from the bones and gradually causes more and more pain over time. The ligaments that support your hip may also be wearing or thin.

If the situation worsens or never improves, I would suggest consulting a doctor. It is typically abnormal for a person's hip to be popping.
