Paint a room?

my parents bought a new house and i wanna paint my new room while its empty so i dont have to move my bed around and stuff. but my parents wont let me! they say it wont match the entire house? and that the paint already there looks new already. but i hate the color, which is a dull white/tan color. i want to paint my room blue, but my parents wont let me >:[ how can i convince them? they're tuff cookies and they usually stick to their first decision. thnxx

With this being a new house, my guess is they're not going to want a new color.  That being said,  use the accessories in your room for the colors you like  Comforter, pillows, area rug, art, curtains can all give you the color pop needed.  Hope this will help.

Won't be all that long til you're in your own place and can have it ALL blue!!
