Paint balling a sport?

OK well me and my brother had a fight about paint balling. he says that paint balling is a sport and i say that it is NOT a sport. Who is right?

It's only a "sport" if it's a clear competition with rules, players, fans, etc.  I'm with you, I don't think it's a sport, but on the other hand if ESPN 3 could make money to broadcast it then they probably would.

To me, there are aspects to it that make it more of a sport. I, personally, LOVE paintball. I've played both baseball and football, and would choose paintball over both any day of the week. Paintball has structure and rules, not to mention a specific scoring system, like all the other sports. The execution of the rules can also be subjective at times, just like all the other sports.
