Paint colors and room ideas?

I'm 16 and redecorating my room. I bought this bedspread from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20114468 and I am torn between a few colors for my walls.

They are: deep carnation pink, light green,light teal, or white.

I have white furniture, two windows facing East, and a averaged sized room.

Help I cant decide! I'm not crazy about the black and white and pink themed room because I think its overdone but my favorite color (right now) is pink. I'm still not sure if I would want it on my walls though.

Anyway I want my room to reflect my interests (art, photography, science, fashion, wildlife, music, reading, and travel. I have a lot of interests!) So if anyone has any creative ideas of things I could do with my room that would be great! The only thing I'm planning to do at the moment id frame my artwork and photos.

Go with the deep carnation pink.  The more shocking of a pink the better.  I love pink and black.

You could paint two walls pink and two green. Add green and pink pillows to your bed. Do this so there isnt too much PINK and GREEN and do the half and half idea.

ok easy done, paint the room what ever colour you like (this is the back ground) then get some wall paper glue and find some interesting posters ( that you like ) and glue them randomly to the walls and ceiling as you would wall paper making sure they are on there really flat and stuff... then paint over with gloss... never tried it before but i reckon it would be something to test out,

you can get a digital pic frame that you can load with your own images. it automatically changes the pic every few minutes and it's a conversation starter too. you can load the frame with images of art, science, fashion, wildlife, music stars, and travel pics and of course the standard friends n family and self pics

You can do so many things!

My room has 2 walls turquoise and the other 2 cream and in the morning it's a really nice colour.  It's bright and cheerful but it's not too much :)

You can have a feature wall and pick a detailed wall paper and have it on one wall then the rest plain.

You could have all the walls cream and then frame your art work :) and use a certain coloured frames, cushions etc.

I think that the a warm red would be really nice with the bedding you've got.

your bed spread is black and white, so wall and everything you must be follow that i think. You can feel good in your room if you apply just two color not more. You have interests (art, photography, science, fashion, wildlife, music, reading, and trave, you can match that color for everything and more elegant and not too busy http://1stupholsteryfabric.blogspot.com/
