Paint program on computer question?

i want to make a collage of my nephew who died 2 weeks ago.... but the problem is paint wont let me have more then once picture at a time...i open a picture and if i click open again it says would you like to save the changes to the other picture...my question is how do i open more then picture at a time.....or is there some other place i can make one?

you can other programs but if you want to stick with paint then just open a new paint program window from the programs as many as you need

You need a more robust photo-editing program.

Your needs may be quite different from mine, but I prefer IrfanView, available free at www.download.com

The program has been around a long time, is easy to use and there are literally HUNDREDS of free tutorials on the internet to learn to do different things with it.

In order to view several pictures with paint at one time, you'll have ton open several paint windows, and open each picture you want to open in each paint window, and not from the folder.  Just type in "mspaint" in run several times to get a bunch of them open.

I'm not an expert, but if you're making a collage on your computer, I suggest a different program.

Instead of going open again, go to edit and at the very bottom it says paste from. this gives you the ability to resize the image as well
