Paint shop pro vs photoshop?

which is better...i have paint shop pro 9 (psp) and im new to coloring on the computer...i need help cause im not that good...:(

and photoshop is XTREMELY expensive...( 1699$ ) huh ya!..

Well being I'm a PSP user I'm going to tell you that Paint Shop Pro is better.  I have used Photoshop before and was lost so I stuck with PSP.

PSP is capable of the same things that PS has to offer so don't let anyone tell you differently =)

It's just a matter of you getting used to the program and of course having to find all the goodies that can be added to it and then there are endless things you can do with PSP.
