  1. just get the proto slg $199

upgrade the Barrel get the CP 14in .693 classic barrel $30

other upgrades u might want are feedneck, trigger, and backcap. Also the proto slg is better than every gun smart part and kingman make

  2. Get the Spyder, Smart Parts are way harder to maintain and not as durable as Spyder. Spyder last way longer.

  3. The SLG isn't better than any Smart Parts gun ever made.  TheDude is pretty infamous for misinformation.  In fact, it's similar to most spyders in that it uses a sear; the difference being the sear on a spyder releases a ram (or striker) that's connected to the bolt while the sear on the SLG releases the bolt itself.  And the Shocker is still a very good high end and has been for years, just an example of what Smart Parts is capable of.

As for the RSX vs the Epiphany, you'd be better with the Epiphany.  Spyders are nice but the Epiphany has a more desirable method of operation, most notably, it's not a sear-tripping blowback.  The Epiphany is a true electro-pneumatic.

But fyi, the Epiphany performs nearly exactly the same as the Ion but obviously costs more.  So unless you just really like the look of the Epiphany, you may as well save some cash & get an Ion.
