Paintball gun decision?

Question

so,

i'm debating between buying a spyder VS1 or a spyder TL plus.

i can get the TL plus with mask, tank, hopper, 16inch barrel

(all used) for probly 80-90ish.

the VS1, i can get probly get for 90ish, but no package. however, its brand new.

i think the vs1 is better, but is it that much more worth it that i should spend an extra 30-40 buying mask,co2,hopper....

Go with the VS1.

The TL is over 5 years older then the VS1 models are.

You're better off getting the newer and better gun and spending a little more on your equipment. It'll help you in the longrun.

i have a vs1... amazing... tl well its kinda g*y.. semi.. n doesnt shoot too far.. i have shot both,... get a vs1.. and then a hopper electric.. n ur set.. this gun shoots ***** fast with eyes on and when u change the board settings to 20 bps.. cuz it comes set at 15..

Going along with the answer that Chaos gave, I will suggest that you spent a little more than $40 on the mask.  You can get away with a cheap tank and hopper, but when it comes to safety and comfort in a mask, I would suggest getting something a bit more high quality.
