Paintball gun question ??

i have a tac 5 m recon paintball gun and i was wondering do i have to cok the gun ever time i shoot and i cant test this out cause my mom doesn't want me to shoot it until i know how to use it please help

read the manual that came with the gun. Or watch the video below. looks like a semiautomatic (every time you pull the trigger another paintball is automatically loaded you just pull the trigger again to fire).

You c**k the gun once then you can fire as long as there are still paintballs to be fired but once you run out of paintballs and you try to shoot then it will uncock itself and then you need to reload and c**k it again.
