Paintball guns. Tipmann 98 custom?

I'm wondering, How much would it be for a : Tipmann 98 custom with a mask, hopper,Oz tank [ prob 20 oz ] and 500 paintballs approx?

well their are several models of the 98... the basic is about 120 and the platinum are up to 180... there is not much difference between the various 98's is small... the main difference is ACT technology... basically all it does is prevent ball chopping... the normal 98 doesn't really have a problem with this so i think that you would be fine with a normal 98... so 120 for the marker, 20 for a co2 tank, 30-60 for a decent mask and its a better deal to get 2000 paintballs for like 30... so total about 200$ or so in the end

Try to get a deal in bundles or packages

years ago, i bought my tippman brand new as part of a package deal that included everything I needed (gun, hopper, mask, squeegee, and 500 balls) and it cost me somewhere in the 160 range, but If I remember correctly it was on sale.

I would look for under 200.

Buy a used 98C with a couple upgrades, and Co2 tank for less than $100 shipped on Ebay.

Then buy a mask separately for about $50-$100.  A mask with a Thermal lens (duel pane), anti-fog coatings and sprays don't work.  A mask fan may be needed if your in a high humidity area.  

Paintballs can be bought at a paintball shop (never buy monsterballs from walmart).  I suggest Nelsplat or Special Forces paintballs.  Paintballs are expensive and the less you buy the greater the cost.  An example is:

$15 for a bag of 500 paintballs

or

$40 for a case of 2000 paintballs.

the tippmann should be 120-150 and depending on the mask but i would now get a package just get the gun and the mask separately a really good mask is the vforce mask the cheapest one i think is like 20-30 and the next one up is the profiler(the one i have) its like 60 and its been amazing and the lens are removable and the tank i think would be about 20 but if you are going to play alot like 5+times a year would spend the extra money and get an HPA tank(nitrogen, or compressed air they are all the same) the HPA tanks are around 60-180 for a good one and you don't have to buy an O-rings because they don't need O-rings and they are cleaner and more efficient especially if you live in a colder state
