I'm going paintballing today and were going to play scenario most of the time. Is a A-5 with RT and "14" Xcel barrel good for hiding in tall grass and like urban fields with those cars and walls. Also there are fields with watch towers and really cool stuff. So when i paintball should i use my "14" barrel or the "8" barrel that comes with the gun?

  1. barrels and accuracy in paintball are controversial subjects, so you'll have to make your own opinion. A 14" barrel will add alot of length to your gun. If you can handle it, go for it.

But if you want a really short profile, use the 8". It'll be alot less accurate, but if it's close quarters that won't matter.

  2. dont forget to use hard paint like marballizer. with marballizer, you can shoot through bushes.

i agree with dye baller, use a 14" barrel. 8" is way too short.

  3. An 8" barrel? That's kind of ridiculous. 14" is the average barrel size for a reason. It's not too long, but not too short. It's accurate but it won't have you worrying about bashing your barrel into walls or the ground. Go with the 14"
