Painting Chimney?

Question

We recently painted our living room walls a soft blue. However, the tiles of our chimney are a deep green and we'd like to paint them. What kind of paint would we use to do this or does anyone have another creative way to change the color ? I think I've seen on shows such as HGTV, etc that you can even glue stones or faux jewels on them....Your help would be greatly appreciated!

See a paint store, they'll have all you answers and materials to do it right. Paints that have a stone texture, paint that resembles marble, this list goes on...have fun...
