  1. I would paint the walls first with a standard roller, after it dries I would apply painters tape around the edges of the trim and then paint the trim with a mini roller.  The painters tape will keep the white paint of the trim from getting on your aqua blue wall and make cutting the trim in much easier.

  2. As long as you tape everything off really well i dont think it would matter what you paint first.

I would probably paint the white trim first because if you get any white on the wall it would be easier to paint aqua blue over white rather than if you painted the blue first and got some on the trim you'd have to work harder to get the white to cover it up.

Either way theres a risk of getting one color on the other.....but if you tape everything off and use a steady hand around those tape lines you should be just fine.

  3. Good ? Tape all the white trim Paint tape only. Then paint the blue. After its dry pull tape and paint white. White is easy er to paint over. Plus the white is a lesser amount of area to paint..Note: Make sure the room has a fan going or windows open.Just a little tip. you'll see why.

  4. Normal process is ceiling, then walls, then trim/skirting doors frames etc. Simple reason splashes always (normally) go down, so if you don't want blue splashes on white skirting do walls first.

  5. ceiling ,ceiling trim, then walls because their easier to brush up to the trim on top. last of all do the baseboard. just tape off the floor.

  6. my husband is a painter he says he likes to do trim first it leaves better lines but you have to be good. he never uses tape except when the trim is at the floor.he also said hire a painter if you want it done right.

  7. to the walls first because you don't want blue paint running into the white trims
