Painting a room?

we are repainting my brothers room. and we are washing walls and there are these litle black hairs everywhere. its really annoying. anyone know what they are?

they are probably from the paint brush from when somebody last painted the room.

brush hairs, when my mom and i painted my room we had little white hairs cuz our roller was in bad condition
