I did a painting for my friend of her and lots of her friends on a canvas. It didn't go as well as I hoped. I showed to to a couple of my friends and they said I should get something else instead. Would you still give the painting to that person? Or would you just buy a gift instead?

  1. give the painting... something you put effort into is better than something you just buy. its more special if you took time and pride in making it no matter how good or bad it looks... shows you care x

  2. I would buy something and tell her that I was working on a painting for her aswell...but it may take some time...

  3. isnt it the thought that counts?

  4. i would still give it to her but you should probably also buy her something  small too.

  5. I would give that and a gift on top if you think you need to.  I mean a painting takes a lot more time then just buying some random gift.

  6. If someone gave me a painting of me and my friends I would think it was really cool. You put a lot of personal and creative effort into that gift and you and she should be proud of it. If she can't appreciate all your hard work and wants a contrived bought gift instead, maybe she's not the friend you thought she was.

  7. No!!!!!!

Give the painting! It's thoughtful, original and a great gift to receive:)

  8. I'd still give the painting and buy a gift as well. Even if the painting didn't go as well your friend may still like to see it

  9. i would do both....u could get her a gift and give her the painting...and it could be kind of like a joke
