Well guys i recently got the Red Ring of Death, and managed to scam Microsoft into giving my a faceplate for FREE! YAYYY!! (if your interested in how... see below.)

So!, first things first i want to paint my xbox 360's faceplate with "SPRAY PAINT" and in as little colours as possible (2 at the least 4-5 tops) ... currently i'm not feeling buying "THIN TAPE" as they call it from automotive dealers, however i am very open to the Consept of taping off areas to make a design. i do however want to keep the power button all "WHITE" meaning the whole thing (the little depression must be white!!!)

They are just guidelines feel free to break or bend, little or alot, everything but the power button will be considered...

How i scammed Micosoft! (Please note! this only works if you are about to send your 360 in for Red Ring of Death replair!):

Step1: Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX (May be different for your area)

Step2: Ask for an Agent

Step3: Tell the Agent that you are going to send your 360 in for repair, but you has a question about the faceplate

Step4: Ask if it must be removed, they will give you some premeditated line about how it should be on when they get the system

Step5: Reply, somthing like, "See i allready went ahead and spray painted the faceplate, and i dont have a backup because i used my original" (Make sure to stress the fact you only painted the faceplate, or they will tell you, you vioded your warranty.)

Step6: they will say that since it is indeed an accessory, when you ship it in the box, od not include the faceplate, and they will send you a free blank faceplate.

Step7: they will tell you "is there anything else i can help you with"

Step8: Ask them... "And this does not void my warranty at all?"

Step9: they should reply no, hangout, and make sure to thank them for thier friendly service.

  1. try to think of a desigh that your like. personally i would do something like a tribial design. so i would google tribial, and look it up on google images. then print it. then trace it on stiff paper. then just cut it out and put it on the faceplate. hit it with some paint. then to paint the rest of it, cover up the design you just painted with tape. and paint the rest of it.

please note. i would highly suggest using clear coat, after you have everything painted, so it dosent come off easily.
