Painting my car wheels?

im painting my car stock scion tc wheels black

should i clear coat it? or powder coat it? i heard powder coating is better, how is it?

whats the difference between these 2? thx!

well if you want the finish to last i would powder coat them.

Powder coating is best. But you better have some other transportation until their done. If you have the wheels painted, I would recommend single stage. It will hold up better. Check with Scion to see if your wheels can be painted. I know Chrysler does not allow their wheels to be painted. Good luck keeping black wheels looking good.
