Painting my new house?

i just bought a house and all the walls are white, i know what colors i want to piant in the bedrooms but i dont know what color to paint the living room. i have a grayish color carpet and like an olive green colored furniture. the hardwoods are a honey color. just not sure what color to chose. any ideas?

i think maybe a brown or creammy collor would look nice but i dont really know
