  1. Special Precautions

Handling & Storage: Store in cool place.

Other precautions: Avoid breathing strong vapors. Protect eyes and hands. Open container slowly in case of possible pressure build up.

DANGER!!! Many Epoxy & urethane paint contains methylene chloride, which is a substance suspected to be a cancer causing agent in humans.

Depends on how long you were exposed, I don’t see a problem but I would recommend that you check with your doctor just to be on the safe side.

  2. If you are spray painting in a confined space (garage), you are playing with dynamite...Under the conditions you describe, the only safe way to spray paint is with pressure ventilation and filtration...Since the vapor from the paint does not have anywhere to go, the atmosphere in the enclosed space is explosive...Make sure that your respirator is full-face and that you have full body protection - at least long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves and full head covering...Check with the store where you got the paint from and get a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each type paint you used - it should be free...There are several sites on the web where you may get info - some for a fee...If you're not sure if you were affected by the paint, get a list of the paint/coating types you used and take it to your doctor for evaluation.

    Good luck
