Question:

Painting the side of my car?

Hey all! I want to paint a design on the side of my car (Can't afford a professional), and have been reading up on different methods and such. I'm going to buy some paint from Autozone, and brush on my design by hand. Thing is, I'm no artist, so if I make a mistake, do I use paint thinner to remove the unwanted paint, or will that remove the original layer, too? I don't want to remove the stock paint (Is it even possible to paint over it without damaging it?).

Practice on scrap metal (or at least cardboard).

    good Luck...

P.S.  You can get professional signs made up at the printers, that can be just magnetically attached to the doors.

  4. Lol use a stencil? xD I kid, Im no car painting expert either, but try and use a light colored paint thats more importantly REMOVABLE. lol good luck.

and thanks for the answer for my question, I appreciate that and I totally agree with your statement, I watched MTV for more then a minute once and I could not believe my eyes.. people are practically encouraging teen pregnancy.. *sighs* I am really loosing all hope in humanity.
