Pakistan A clinched the three-match unofficial One Day International (ODI) series against Afghanistan as they defeated the tourists by a handsome margin of 150 runs in the second ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan’s openers did not let their captain’s decision down and gave a strong start to their team.

However, the real impetus to Pakistan A’s innings was given by Test wicketkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Sarfraz-Ahmed-c77293, who played some delightful shots at the depth of the innings and made sure that his team posts a huge target of 328 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their
allotted 50 overs.
Sharjeel remained the top scorer for Pakistan A with a quick 64 which came off only 54 balls in which he struck 10 boundaries and a massive hit out of the park.
Babar and Umar scored 63 runs each on 67 and 81 deliveries, respectively.
Sarfaraz shined with 46 off just 28 balls with the help of four boundaries and a six.
Right arm medium pacer, Dawlat Zardan, claimed three scalps but he was way too expensive in his cotta of 10 overs as he gave away 82 runs.
Mohammad Nabi and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Samiullah-Shenwari-c2430 picked up a wicket each to halt Pakistan A’s progress.
Chasing a huge target to dismantle http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 A, Afghan team was off to a poor start and never appeared to be threating the home team.
The visitors lost half of their side with only 95 runs on the board and it was just a question of pride from then onwards.
Shenwari showed some resistance and made the Pakistani fielders toil hard in the field as he scored 61 runs off 111 balls.
However, the whole Afghan team was bowled out in the 47th over of the innings for only 177 runs.
Left arm fast bowler, Sadaf Hussain, was the pick of the bowlers for the home team as he picked up four wickets, conceding 46 runs in nine overs.
He was named as the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling spell.

With just one match left in the series, Pakistan A looks favourite to win the series 3-0 and whitewash the neighbouring country.
