The inaugural Sri Lankan Premier League's foreign player draft, which was announced on Thursday, included players from all Test playing nation apart from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, but was mainly dominated by Pakistan and Australia, with as many as 31 players being scooped up by seven franchises.
The player pick was done via a draft system, as appose to the open auction preferred by the Indian Premier League. The details and amounts have not been disclosed to the media with the SLC’s marketing Head Vajira Dassanayake earlier confirming that the draft will only include SLC officials.
