The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) once again delayed the One Day International squad for the upcoming clashes against New Zealand and World Cup 2011. Few of the players are not yet cleared to play international cricket, and PCB is waiting for the final verdict
on them. PCB is positive about the clearance and employing delaying tactics to get confirmed news about the suspended players.
The selection committee is hopeful to announce the squad in a week time. The PCB stated, “The Selection Committee deliberated upon the names for 30 probable for the upcoming ICC World Cup as well as the ODI Squad for the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 Series.” Continuing
with the statement PCB said “The announcement of both the squads has been deferred till early next week. It is pertinent to mention here that PCB has to submit the names of 30 players to ICC for the World Cup by 5 January, 2011."

of these players, conducting interviews with them. Earlier in the last month, PCB asked these players to submit their financial details. The details of their assets will help the officials to judge if the trio was involved in the spot fixing case or not.
It is believed that the players submitted their financial reports to the committee during the meeting held yesterday. Danish Kaneria was questioned particularly about the incident that happened in England by the board. The British police had quizzed the
leggie about a spot-fixing case in a county match. Even after the nerve breaking question answer session, the committee is still uncertain about the status of the players. The report of the meeting will be discussed with ICC before taking any verdict.
