Pakistan Cricket: The tale of Imran Tahir – Adminsitocrats fail yet again (Part 2)
While many critics had written Tahir off, he persistently improved his game. This man is the epitome of what we can truly call a traveller or a journeyman cricketer. It is a pity that while he was ignored by Pakistan, he was selected to play for another
country by their selectors. It is still not too late to recall Imran Tahir into the national side. Pakistan most certainly need him and with his experience, he can contribute a fair deal to the national side. I would not have written an article about this
man, only being a huge fan of Mr. Jarrod Kimber, I do know that he is rarely kind to people. That too cricketers. Given the fact that Jarrod has written with genuine affection about this leg spinner is reason enough that Imran Tahir should be given a chance
to play for Pakistan.
“I had already written off Imran Tahir. In my defence, I would like to say that I was completely justified, he was bowling garbage. Then he bowled a spell that would have given a republican a reason to use his gun, had he understood leg spin. Not understood,
dug leg spin, I mean really feel leg spin. The sort of person who teaches his girlfriend leg spin with an apple. If you had some a deep emotional and sexual connection with leg spin Tahir’s spell was free hardcore p**n with no download limits. Tahir excited
me more in 4 overs than Danish Kaneria has in his whole career. This spell was the equivalent of heroin for an addict, or a willing 12 year old boy for a priest. Imran, it has been a while since I have done this, but you deserve it,” writes Jarrod about Tahir.
During an interview with a local website, Imran had written that it was a disappointing juncture in his life when he failed to make it to the national side despite playing for Pakistan A, Under 19 and Under 19 World Cup. In the domestic season, he bagged
80 wickets but was not considered by the selectors and so decided to depart to South Africa. When asked about Danish Kaneria, he said that he would not want to compare himself to Danish. He said he believed that Danish was a good bowler however had he been
in his place for a lot of matches, he would certainly had made more of an impact for Pakistan than Danish.
As I first wrote that spinners from Pakistan have this endearing quality about them. They are never boring. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Imran-c64193 Tahir, on the other hand, is a pure adrenalin rush and is most
certainly a much more exciting leg spinner than Kaneria boasting a better first class record and better looks.
Spinners normally thrive in English conditions; however Kaneria never really seemed potent there. Tahir, on the contrary, has continued to make waves wherever he has played. Of course, there are dry patches in a career, but those dry patches are filled by
more consistent vibrant patches of early spring. He can bowl a top spinner that resembles a live cobra; he can bowl a flipper that would turn into a real live dolphin as he releases it. He bowls a wrong one, so delicious that cricket fans can taste it. In
fact, it could have easily qualified amongst the best dish in Britain's top chef.
With the retirement of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 has sought out spinners. However, many of them have failed to make an impact. Saeed Ajmal promises a lot of potential; however his weakness was exposed when he was made to bowl on the rather
batting friendly pitches of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Tahir on the contrary has done enough in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, to have proven himself as a quality leg spinner with a swagger.
