Pakistan Cricket issues blown out of proportion: Yawar Saeed
In the midst of all the controversy that Pakistan has found itself muddled up in during the ongoing series against England, the Pakistan cricket team has had to go through a lot of heart ache. Following the reports of spot fixing allegations being published
in an English Tabloid, the ICC took swift action against three Pakistani players who were then provisionally suspended until the investigative report was handed over to the ICC by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Scotland-c756 Yard. However Scotland Yard have not been able to find any solid evidence
against the Pakistan players and all the evidence remains circumstantial.
In the wake of all these allegations there were calls from certain quarters of the Cricket community calling for a ban on Pakistan cricket. However Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed has now come forward and stated that Pakistan has very few friends in the
cricket community globally, and the issues pertaining to the national cricket team are blown out of proportion. Saeed who returned to Pakistan from Dubai following a medical check up also completely dismissed the allegations of ball tampering, citing the allegations
as completely baseless.
"There are people who are always trying to run down Pakistan cricket and our players, and blow things out of proportion, like it happened in England. No charge has been proved against our players, yet they were deemed criminals and that is sad. No one wants
to highlight the positives about http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket," he said.
He insisted, that the ball tampering allegations were just an attempt to malign Pakistan cricket even further and had it really been the case, the match referee or the umpires would have pointed it out, whereas they did not. The team manager admitted that
this was perhaps the toughest tour of his career, but he said that the team had shown a lot of character and it was a great learning opportunity for everyone.
The team manager also refused to comment on the Pakistani players under scrutiny for spot fixing accusations and insisted that if the charges against the players are proven, then the strictest possible action will be taken against them. However till then
the players remain innocent. The 75 year old also said that he and the coach had done every possible thing to ensure that life was easier for the players who had to put up with a lot of mudslinging and accusations.
