Besides these three batsmen none of the Irish batsmen could enter the double figures. They were all out after making just 96 runs in just 20 overs. That was a mere total for the Asian Giants to chase.
Pakistan in pursuit of a very small target of 97 runs started their innings with openers Mohammad Hafeez and Taufeeq Umar.

So Pakistan won the first match of the two-match ODI series by a huge margin of seven wickets and are now leading the series by 1-0.
