Pakistan U-19 vs Nepal U-19 - Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup - Group A- Match Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 U-19 and Nepal U-19 teams clashed on 23rd June ’2012 at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur, in a group A match of the on-going Under-19 Asia Cup. The young Men in Green managed to secure an 8-wicket win in a one-sided affair against the Nepalese.
Captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to field, while believing in the team’s ability to chase.  The bold decision was rewarded as opener, Subash Khakurel departed early at the team total of 16. However, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naresh-c78656 Budayair consolidated, alongside Pradeep
Airee to put on 33 for the second-wicket.
In an attempt to gain momentum, Pradeep was the next player to be dismissed after the opener reached a personal score of 18. The dismissal left the responsibility to the lower middle-order, which ultimately failed to post a decent enough target.
The only substantial partnership came in the form of Budayair and Prithu Baskota, who added 40 runs for the 4th wicket stand before confusion between the batsmen caused a run-out which completely dented http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nepal-c2965’s hopes as they were bundled out on
a lowly 156.
The Pakistani bowlers restricted Nepal U-19 through a collective team effort where all bowlers chipped in with at least one wicket.  http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Usman-Qadir-c94698 grabbed a wicket each.
The run chase was swift, with openers, skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rahul-c83321 Vishvakarma.
However, Sami Aslam ticked the scoring card along despite the bowling side claiming Imam-ul-Haq’s scalp, adjudged LBW off Sagar Pun.
Unfortunately it remained a little too late as Sami helped Pakistan U-19 to win their first match of the tournament as the Men in Green chased down the modest total in 37.3 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
Sami was further nominated Man of the match for his unbeaten 82 which came off 115 balls.
Pakistan U-19 will now face http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 U-19 in a group A match, which is scheduled for 24th June’2012.
