Pakistan and india question. please hurry?

I don't want a direct answer because that would be cheating. I eighter want a reference where I can find the answer, a hint, or clearify the question for me. I can't find the answer anywhere online even on google. So please help. Please hurry

1.How does nuclear capacity for India and Pakistan affect other countries, and ultimately, world peace?

2.What are some legitimate solutions to resolution of conflict between India and Pakistan?

If I was asked to answer question 1, I think I should relate it to previous incidences which have done so.....such as the Stand-off between Kruschev and Kennedy over the nuclear weapons on Cuba.  As a teenager I was terrified we were about to experience a nuclear war.  I think we came very close.

When two countries are so totally at odds and have nuclear capabilities the hatred engendered could escalate into a nuclear war.

Sorry, cannot help on 2, because I don't know - United Nations intervention?  A Kissinger type person to act as go between.
