Pakistan’s middle order batsman, Azhar Ali, is confident that Pakistan will completely dominate the forthcoming two-match Test series against Caribbean Kings.
If Pakistan succeeds in white washing West Indies in a Test series then it will serve as a huge boost for  the Men in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Green-c60723, as its going to be their first ever 2-0 victory in cricketing history over the Windies.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 will enjoy home ground advantage over Pakistan but experts believe it is one of the best chances for the Cornered Tigers to claim a first series whitewash against the hosts on their home soil.
Azhar Ali expressed his positive hope about men in green by saying “Pakistan have been doing well in the last few series. We have fought back through both our bowling and batting from difficult situations in recent Test matches overseas which is a sign of
good team. While the West Indies are struggling at the moment and this is a big opportunity for us to win both Test matches”.
Ali seems to be a promising campaigner for the visitors and his credentials suggest that he has all the abilities of becoming a match wining performer for his side. 26-year old Azhar Ali is currently the part of Pakistan’s tour to West Indies and he is all
set to prove himself with his maiden Test century against a formidable Windies attack.
Previously, Azhar Ali appeared in 10 Test encounters for Pakistan with six half centuries to his name. As Ali does not have any century to his credit and when asked he said “I feel a bit of pressure of not scoring hundred so far but in this series I will
try my level best to pass that magic three figure mark by extending my game and playing just normal cricket. I would to love to score 100 both in Guyana and St. Kitts”.
At one time, the West Indian bowling attack was considered to be one of the most fearsome attacks in the cricketing arena. But Ali is confident and the host’s bowling attack is not as lethal as is it used to be in the 1970s.
Azhar Ali recently registered another Test fifty in a two day warm-up game against Guyana. In the absence of Taufiq Umar, Azhar will again open the innings against West Indies in the first Test scheduled to start on 12 May, 2011.
The specialist Test batsman from Lahore expressed his views on playing only one format of the game and mentioned that it is a difficult job to perform and focus on only Test cricket. As Test cricket demands a higher level of ability to soak-up pressure and
mental stability as compared to the other two formats.
Azhar thanked Coach Waqar Younis, and, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972 for showing confidence in his capabilities and said that Coach Waqar Younis and Misbah ul Haq boosted his morale and confidence. And if he is asked to open, Azhar will try his level best to live up to
his potential and his management’s expectations.
