Pakistan hoping to host http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 and South Africa later next year – Cricket News Update
Pakistan Cricket Board is hoping to host arch rivals India and the South African cricket team in full fledged series sometime in the latter half of 2013, revealed PCB official on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
A reliable source from inside the Pakistan Cricket Board shared with media reporters that the Men in Green are scheduled to play three major series, home and away, in 2013-14 season, starting with a tour to South Africa in January next year. The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 itinerary will be followed by a tour to West Indies in July and August, and a home series against the Proteas later in the year.

"The team will go to the Caribbean after taking part in the Champions Trophy in England that will be held in June. Before the tournament we will also be playing a series against Ireland," the source told PTI yesterday.
South Africa is scheduled to tour the troubled country in October 2013, in the return leg of the bilateral series, but that would depend on the law and order situation in the country, said the PCB source.
"If security issues lead to South Africa not wanting to play in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 than obviously the other option is to host them at a neutral venue," he said.
The PCB is also hoping to convince the Board of Control for Cricket in India to send its players to Pakistan, sometime in the latter half of the year. After the West Indies tour the board has a window open in August-September, and is contemplating over inviting the Indian counterparts in this period. However, the source said that it is still an idea and it would be too early to confirm anything now.
"The idea is there and discussions on this will be held when Pakistan goes to India in December but it is too early to say anything concrete now," the source said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has not hosted an international cricket team since the 2009 militant attacks on the on-tour Sri Lankan squad in Lahore, and against India it dates back to February 2006.
