Pakistan likely to host Australia in Sri Lanka – Cricket News Update
The Pakistan Cricket Board are complementing over the prospect of hosting a limited-overs series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 in Sri Lanka, scheduled to take place later in August.

statement in regards to this, the board is aware of the developments.
“Sri Lanka Cricket had expressed the desire to host the series to the PCB a month ago and both boards have no problems with it,” Ranatunga confirmed. “I do not know about the stand of the other cricket board [CA] yet.”
The Memorandum of Understanding is yet to be signed however, and Alam will be travelling to Sri Lanka to iron out the arrangements next month.
Pakistan have not hosted an international series since the terrorist attack on the visiting Sri Lanka team in March 2009, which left six members of the national team injured, and six Pakistani policemen and two civilians dead.

The most recent attempt for the resumption of international cricket in Pakistan was a proposed series against Bangladesh. The BCB sent a delegation which approved the security conditions in Pakistan, but following the ICC’s refusal to send their match officials

Pakistan has been hosting home series abroad, most frequently in the UAE, where they recently hosted http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c749. While they emerged triumphant in the Test series, whitewashing their opponents 3-0, they were less successful in the limited-overs leg, losing the
ODIs 0-4, and the T20s 1-2.
However, the Men In Green bounced back in spectacular fashion in Bangladesh this month, and went on to win the Asia Cup for the second time in their history. Judging by their current form, the hosts are likely to prove challenging opponents for the Aussies,
regardless of where the series is held.
